Learning from this week
This week's practical learning!
In our art lessons this week, we have been creating some Stone Age style markings using charcoal in our sketch books. We looked at some examples from caves and saw that they used to use handprints to show where families used to live.
We had lots of fun doing this and it got very messy! We were able to hold the charcoal in different ways to create different effects, as well as using our fingers to smudge the edges to make it look even cooler!
We have also used counters in maths to make 3-digit numbers to help with our understanding of place value.
