We've had a great week at school with the children who didn't go to Castleton. We started by looking at a video based on Picasso's artwork 'Guernica' and doing some drama. Then we did self-portraits in the cubist style. Today, we've painted backdrops for the Y6 production and experimented with oblik!
Some tag rugby and some tennis!
Our Y6's are on the way to Castleton on Monday 20th May, here is some more information.
Here is an overview of the 4 days of testing. The children have worked hard for this since Year 2 - they are as ready as they can be. We wish them all luck and thank you all for your support this year so far.
Last practice before SATs. Congratulations to everyone who made it onto the post below today and all those who have continued to make progress this year. We are as ready as we'll ever be!
We are so excited for our Y6 Prom, taking place on Thursday 18th July!
We had a lot of fun making savoury muffins last week. The brief was to create a snack to add to the café menu that celebrated seasonality...and the children did a fantastic job!
Here are some photos of the making process. Hopefully, they can have a go home too!
Here are the scores that have made us smile this week as well as our picks for postcards and awards.
Just a reminder that if you would like to order your child a leavers' hoody, please place your order online by 10th May.
Welcome to the final term at Watercliffe Meadow and also the final term of primary school!
