School Streets

Starting Monday 7th October, School Streets will begin. See here for more info.

This is another reminder about School Streets, which will begin on Monday 7th October 2024. This means Boynton Road will be closed every Monday–Friday from 8:15am-9:15am and 2:45pm-3:45pm, term time only.

During these times, vehicular traffic will not be allowed to enter Boynton Road via the closure point (photographed below).

School Streets

Here are some things to note:-

Boynton Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Shirecliffe Road.
The closure will operate Monday to Friday, term time only.
Closure times will be 8:15 to 9:15am in the morning and 14:45 to 15:45pm in the afternoon.
During these times, vehicular traffic will not be allowed to enter via Boynton Road via the closure point (exceptions do apply).
Residents living within the closed section will always have access via a (free) permit scheme.
