The Wormery

As part of our rocks and soils topic, we have managed to create our own wormery in the classroom with real life worms! We have added all the worms by hand and we loved feeling how gruesome and slimy they were! It is now our job to look after them, making sure the soil is damp enough for them and that they have enough food to eat!

We also learned a little skipping rhyme to help remind us what they might eat.

I like my friends in with me!
