Y4 Murton Park
On Wednesday 2nd October, all of Y4 travelled to Murton Park to become Anglo-Saxons for the day.
The children were utterly fantastic on the visit, and not only did they show off lots of knowledge but they gained a lot too! We dressed as Anglo-Saxons and learnt all about what life was like, whilst joining in with some really fun activities. We made our own candles by dipping a wick repeatedly in bees was, we learnt how to guard the village from invasion and wild animals, we played a dice game that they would have played and we also did some Anglo-Saxon writing! What a fabulous day was had; despite the minor blip with the coach!
