Welcome back after the summer holiday and welcome to Year2. We have had a really lovely start to the term and the children have settled in really well.
This week we have already had lots of children recording reads in their Reading Record. Each Friday we will count the reads and there is an expectation to read at least four times a week. Year 2 is a year where children can make accelerated progress in reading if they really work at their reading mileage. These children will be celebrated on this blog.
We will also celebrate improvements in Beat That scores. The Beat That will be sent home each Friday to practice at home.
