Another super week in Year 1! Your children really are a fabulous bunch! We want to give a special mention to them all for their incredible work in D&T this week. We saw so many of our learning principles but particularly learning together!

Harper and Yazan earned the Feeling Proud badge. Yazan had been very helpful in D&T and Harper has been working hard to meet her target.

Hiyab is our PE star for listening well to instructions and supporting others with our athletics work. 

Jaxson is the latest Year 1 child to get on the rocket!

Apologies for any confusion caused about the Easter activities. To clarify, Year 1 will be taking part in the Easter Egg Challenge only and will not be participating in the Easter Bonnet Parade. Thank you for your understanding. WCM.

If there are any children who would like to make an Easter bonnet and share it with the class, they are obviously more than welcome and these will also be celebrated on the blog. 

Some fantastic home learnings before half term and this week.

Jaxson, Wren (and his big brother Luther), Mehki and Areen have made some fantastic models! 

Eric has done some measuring as well. 

This week we are sending home some sheets to support phonics learning. If you scan the QR codes they will take you to a video to practice the focus sounds. I have attached the sheet that will be going home tomorrow. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
